A doctor got a medical question wrong on The Chase and he was MORTIFIED

ARGH.

WE UNDERSTAND THAT nerves often get the better of people on The Chase, but this? It’s probably going to stay with him for a while.

One of last night’s contestants, Euan, is a newly-qualified doctor from Glasgow – he was asked the location of the pituitary gland, and well, it didn’t go very well for him:

Putting his head in his hands, Euan admitted that he thought host Bradley Walsh said ‘thyroid’. Erm.

Euan, back to uni! Have you got pals watching this?
Definitely. That’s…that’s bad.

The viewers at home were…alarmed:

To double Euan’s embarrassment, his chaser ended up being fellow doctor Paul Sinha – but surprisingly, he went easy on him.

I’ve made these mistakes before myself in the past. I actually feel for you. That’s not medical ignorance, that’s just being hard of hearing. Hearing, [that's] your ears.

Well, at least he’ll never forget again? There’s always that.
